Sheffield Cargo Logistics Limited specializes in LCL (Less-than-Container Load) shipping, freight forwarding, and consolidation services. With weekly groupage containers from China, South Africa, and Europe to Kenya, we ensure seamless delivery to consignees and their agents.
Your Trusted NVOCC Partner
Less than Container Load freight combines consignments through consolidation providers. Provide actual packed volume and gross weight, not only the product’s net weight. Non-stackable or oversized packages require early disclosure.
Review origin and destination consolidation charges as well as ocean freight. Deconsolidation arrangements and customs clearance are separate responsibilities unless both are included in the quote. Confirm the receiving depot and cargo-ready date before delivery.

Prepare each package for shared-container handling
Sheffield Cargo Logistics Limited supports LCL freight forwarding and consolidation enquiries, including groupage from China, South Africa and Europe to Kenya. Confirm the current departure, receiving cut-off and destination handling arrangements for your shipment before delivering goods to a consolidation point.
Shared-container cargo passes through consolidation and deconsolidation handling. Mark each package clearly, use suitable protective packing and provide dimensions for the finished package rather than the unpacked product. On arrival, the consignee and their appointed agent need the correct house transport documents and release references.

Questions about this service
Is an LCL rate simply multiplied by the number of cartons?
No. The quoted charging basis may use weight or measurement, with minimums and shipment-level charges. Confirm the freight basis, destination handling and document fees in the actual quotation.
Can the consignee choose a customs clearing agent?
Clarify the destination release arrangement when booking. Consolidation or deconsolidation and customs clearance are separate responsibilities; the consignee’s nominated agent should receive the documents needed for the agreed clearance process.
Tell us what needs to move.
Our team will review the cargo and coordinate a proposal for the confirmed service requirements.
